The Simmons 1160 Pitcher Pump is certified lead free,
rugged, cast iron construction, perfect for simple
shallow well and cistern pumping. With the handle in
the upright position and no foot valve, water will drain
back to prevent freezing. 1-1/4” inlet provides good
water flow. Will pump up to 25 feet. Since it comes
from Simmons, you know it will be higher quality than
some of the cheaper pumps floating around, and being
lead free allows you to relax and drink in comfort.
